Description
Corrugated paper board is made of outer paper, inner paper, core paper and corrugated paper processed into corrugated shape by bonding. According to the demand of commodity packaging, corrugated board can be processed into single-sided corrugated board, three-layer, five-layer, seven-layer and eleven-layer corrugated board. Corrugated boards with different shapes have different functions. Even for outer paper and inner paper of the same quality, the performance varies due to the difference of corrugated shape. Internationally, there are four types of corrugated ridges commonly used, namely A-type ridge, C-type ridge, B-type ridge and E-type ridge (See Table 1 for technical indicators and requirements). Corrugated board made of A-type ridge is of better cushioning and elasticity. C-type follows but has better stiffness and impact resistance. B-type is of high density, flat surface and high bearing pressure, which is suitable for printing; E-type is superior in rigidity and strength for its thinness and denseness.
